OFFICIAL PESILAT RANKING
The ranking system was developed by Grandmaster (Scholar) Dr. Mohamad Nizam Mohamed Shapie in order to determine the level of pesilat in Silat Tempur. It is also useful to differentiate the level of skills and ability between the senior and junior pesilat that compete in Silat Tempur and Silat Olahraga competition.
Here is the breakdown of points:
MATCH WON – 50 POINTS; CHAMPION OF TOURNAMENT +30
MATCH LOST – 25 POINTS
Those pesilat that achieved 10,000 points will be considered as Grandmaster in Silat. Any pesilat that below 2000 points will be considered as junior athletes.
